Job Summary
Working virtually as a full-time Loan Processor, the candidate will review loan applications, create condition checklists, and communicate with borrowers to ensure a smooth loan processing experience.
Key responsibilities
- Process loans by underwriting files, collecting documentation, and making independent decisions based on mortgage lending guidelines
- Communicate with borrowers and team members to relay critical information and facilitate the approval process
- Complete training programs to develop necessary skills for the position
Required qualifications
- Experience in mortgage banking or related fields with loan operations preferred
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred
- Ability to maintain a minimum score of 75% on position metrics
- Basic knowledge of the mortgage process
- Experience with an annual volume of 200 closed loans is advantageous
