Logistics Planner

Job Summary

To optimize transportation load plans for customers and carriers, the full-time Logistics Planner will establish efficient shipping processes, manage relationships with carriers, and ensure effective communication with operational teams, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and optimize transportation plans for customers and develop efficient freight consolidation strategies
• Maintain communication with operational leaders and customer service teams regarding load planning and scheduling constraints
• Analyze orders and build shipments to optimize freight costs while providing after-hours assistance as necessary

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or a business-related field preferred
• At least 1 year of logistics work experience
• Experience with Oracle Transportation Management or similar transportation management systems
• Familiarity with transportation routing, scheduling, dispatching, and load planning
• Proficiency with MS Office and Google Drive
