Job Summary
Managing a regional logistics project portfolio, the remote contract Logistics Project Manager will coordinate global logistics, optimize transportation costs, and ensure timely, compliant shipments through strategic planning and stakeholder collaboration.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and execute inbound and/or outbound global logistics functions
- Monitor purchase orders and coordinate with buyers, vendors, and carriers for timely delivery
- Develop logistics strategies to optimize cycle costs and manage full project lifecycle estimated costs
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, project management, or supply chain functions
- International logistics experience including transportation, customs, and trade agreements
- Advanced knowledge of English; proficiency in an additional language is a plus
- Proven leadership and ability to work independently in cross-functional environments
