Job Summary
Supporting the Inquiry-to-Order organization, the remote contract Logistics Proposal Specialist will develop logistics strategies, prepare budgetary transportation estimates, and assist in proposal development for domestic and international projects.
Key responsibilities
- Support logistics activities during the inquiry-to-order phase for domestic and international projects
- Assist in developing logistics content for customer proposals, tenders, and RFQ responses
- Prepare budgetary transportation estimates using market intelligence and carrier quotations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, transportation, business, engineering, or related discipline
- 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, supply chain, or project logistics
- Experience supporting transportation planning, freight estimating, or proposal development
- Understanding of domestic and international transportation modes and logistics operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
