Guiding insurance claims from start to finish, the full-time Long Term Disability Claim Specialist will make informed decisions, develop case files, and maintain communication with claimants and partners while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Make decisions based on comprehensive evaluations of claim facts and relevant information
- Develop case files and maintain effective communication with claimants, brokers, and internal departments
- Review ongoing claim liability and accurately determine financial liability based on various factors
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of Long Term Disability claims experience
- Ability to analyze and apply insurance provisions and contracts to disability claims
- Proficient in navigating multiple systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Solid customer service skills with an emphasis on empathy
- Access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico
