Long-Term Disability Claims Examiner

Job Summary

Seeking a compassionate and experienced Long-Term Disability Claims Examiner, this full-time remote position will independently manage a caseload of LTD claims from intake through resolution, collaborating with claimants, employers, and medical professionals to ensure timely and fair claim decisions.

Key responsibilities:

• Independently manage a caseload of Long-Term Disability claims, gathering and assessing information related to disability status
• Conduct interviews with claimants and review medical documentation to support informed claim evaluations
• Deliver timely and ethical claim determinations in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory standards

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
• 1+ years of long-term disability claims experience directly aligned with the role's responsibilities
• Experience in reviewing complex medical records and collaborating with clinical experts
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and build strong relationships
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
