Loss Draft Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Loss Draft Specialist will manage loss draft and property damage requirements, including processing checks and documents, ordering inspections, and evaluating claims in accordance with company policies and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Process checks and documents related to loss drafts and property damage, and manage the loss drafts queue
• Review and validate claim packages and adjuster worksheets to determine draw eligibility and assess repair costs
• Initiate fraud processes when necessary and monitor the quality of services provided by appraisers and inspectors

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent work experience
• Two or more years of experience in insurance, banking, finance, mortgage servicing, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of claims handling and insurance practices
• Familiarity with property estimating systems and claims documentation procedures
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and make moderate-impact decisions
