Loss Mitigation Specialist

Job Summary

To support key business operations, the remote Loss Mitigation Specialist will evaluate mortgage assistance options, guide accounts through the resolution process, and maintain accurate information throughout each case while working full-time in a structured schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze borrower circumstances and account information to identify appropriate mortgage assistance or resolution options
• Guide customers through required steps, documentation needs, and available solutions while providing clear and professional service
• Coordinate case activity with internal partners to support accurate decisions and timely account progression

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in loss mitigation, mortgage servicing, banking, collections, or a closely related financial services function
• Familiarity with conventional agency backed mortgage requirements is preferred
• Exposure to conventional agency backed loans for candidates primarily experienced with government insured mortgages
• Reliable home internet service with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps; service providing 100 Mbps download and 25 Mbps upload is preferred
• Ability to connect work equipment directly to the internet using a wired Ethernet connection
