Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Loss Mitigation Underwriter II will underwrite loss mitigation applications in compliance with Treasury, Company, and Investor guidelines, while making sound underwriting decisions and managing moderately complex files.
Key responsibilities
- Perform thorough analysis of loans to ensure compliance with relevant guidelines
- Conduct Verification of Income (VOI) and calculate debt-to-income ratios
- Document final decisions and maintain accurate records in the system
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Two to three years of underwriting or loss mitigation experience
