Job Summary

Managing assigned claims, the full-time Senior Captive Claims Advocate will facilitate communication between insureds, adjusters, and other parties to ensure proactive resolution while mentoring less experienced advocates in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diary of assigned claims and utilize the Applied EPIC system for status reviews
• Build relationships with clients to facilitate claims management and assist with dispute resolutions
• Educate insureds on state-specific regulations and mitigation programs related to workers' compensation claims

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in an insurance role with applicable claims coverages
• Knowledge of Property & Casualty forms and relevant coverages
• Experience handling workers' compensation claims required
• Active Property and Casualty license required; company will assist in obtaining licensure if needed
