Job Summary
To support a growing initiative addressing student mental health, a Louisiana Licensed Mental Health Therapist will provide teletherapy and mental health assessments to students in partner school districts on a part-time contract basis, collaborating with school staff and families to enhance mental health support.
Key responsibilities
- Provide mental health assessments and skills-based teletherapy to students, typically for 2-4 months per case
- Collaborate with school counselors and other providers throughout a student's care journey
- Build relationships with school staff and families to support student engagement and mental health needs
Required qualifications
- Master's Degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field
- Active Louisiana license to deliver mental health care independently (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PhD/PsyD)
- Experience with CBT, DBT, ACT, solution-focused therapy, and/or motivational interviewing
- Experience delivering care via telehealth
- Strong technological skills and access to reliable high-speed internet
