Job Summary
To support K-12 students in Louisiana, the part-time Remote Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) will conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapy interventions while collaborating with school staff and monitoring student progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' motor skills and functional abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with students, parents, and school staff
- Monitor and document students' progress towards goals, adjusting intervention plans as necessary
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field
- Valid state license as an Occupational Therapist in Louisiana
- Registered with the National Board Certification Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Experience providing occupational therapy services in a school or pediatric setting
- Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric occupational therapy
