Job Summary
To support patient outreach efforts, the remote Louisiana Licensed Pharmacy Technician will make outbound calls to eligible patients, educate them about the Shields Specialty Pharmacy Program, and ensure the confidentiality of patient information during an 8-hour shift from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday.
Key responsibilities
- Proactively enroll patients in the Shields Partner Pharmacy program through outbound calls
- Educate patients on the services offered by the pharmacy and address their specific needs
- Review patient charts prior to calls to ensure informed communication and identify necessary medication handling
Required qualifications
- Active Louisiana Pharmacy Technician License; CPhT preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
