Louisiana Licensed Reimbursement Analyst
Job Summary
Joining the Provider Reimbursement team, the full-time Louisiana Licensed Reimbursement Analyst will provide analytical support for healthcare provider contracts, manage billing and payment processes, and assist with the development and implementation of reimbursement programs in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement project narratives and respond to concerns regarding reimbursement programs and billing guidelines
- Assist with the analysis, reporting, and oversight of assigned reimbursement contracts and related health services utilization
- Conduct ad hoc analysis, compile fee disclosure requests, and respond to inquiries related to claims and reimbursement methodologies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, accounting, finance, mathematics, health informatics, or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, and experience with Microsoft Access or SQL Server for building queries
- 2+ years of professional experience in financial analysis, reimbursement, or related fields for Analyst level; 4+ years for Senior level
- Experience with medical coding and statistical analysis is preferred
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for all levels
