Job Summary
To support young learners in developing foundational math skills, the part-time Lower Elementary Math Tutor will deliver personalized, one-on-one online lessons for Grades 1-4, utilizing interactive teaching methods in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one online math lessons aligned with U.S. Common Core State Standards (CCSS)
- Prepare lesson content tailored to individual student needs and provide timely feedback
- Engage students through interactive methods, adapting communication styles to maintain motivation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Math, Education, or related fields
- Teaching experience or a valid teaching certificate is highly preferred
- Availability to work during weekday evenings and weekends (US time zones)
- Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese is preferred
