Job Summary
To support a boutique M&A advisory firm, the full-time M&A Director, Valuation & Due Diligence will manage financial analysis and valuation processes for client engagements, ensuring accurate profitability assessments and effective communication with stakeholders in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Building a clean, supportable view of a seller's true profitability
- Pricing firms and modeling buyer offers over time
- Handling buyer diligence requests and negotiating adjustments
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in M&A, due diligence, valuation, investment banking, or corporate development
- Deal experience with RIAs or wealth managers, or extensive work with founder-owned private companies
- Strong accounting fundamentals and ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Bonus points for CPA or valuation credential, Big 4 deal advisory experience, and hands-on AI use
