MA or NY Licensed Obesity Medicine Physician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Dedicated and Collaborative Obesity Medicine Physician.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care focusing on evidence-based obesity treatment and chronic weight management
• Review charts and conduct return visits for APP patients to ensure quality and continuity of care
• Conduct weekly collaborative meetings with assigned APPs to review cases and provide mentorship

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with board certification from the American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM)
• Minimum of 5 years as an attending physician in primary specialty
• Active and unrestricted state license in MA or NY, or other specified states with a Letter of Qualification
• Strong interest in mentoring and collaborating with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
• Experience working with APPs, medical residents, or trainees in a clinical academic setting
