Job Summary
A company is looking for a Dedicated and Collaborative Obesity Medicine Physician.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care focusing on evidence-based obesity treatment and chronic weight management
- Review charts and conduct return visits for APP patients to ensure quality and continuity of care
- Conduct weekly collaborative meetings with assigned APPs to review cases and provide mentorship
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree with board certification from the American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM)
- Minimum of 5 years as an attending physician in primary specialty
- Active and unrestricted state license in MA or NY, or other specified states with a Letter of Qualification
- Strong interest in mentoring and collaborating with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
- Experience working with APPs, medical residents, or trainees in a clinical academic setting
