Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the modeling approach for visual inspection, the full-time remote Machine Learning Engineer will manage architecture selection, training strategies, and accuracy targets for machine vision models, while collaborating with manufacturing customers to ensure effective defect detection.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the modeling approach for visual inspection, including architecture selection and accuracy targets
• Define and maintain the evaluation methodology and regression suite for model releases
• Optimize models for edge targets, including quantization and runtime selection

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required
• Typically requires 8+ years of experience in a software product development environment
• Experience with deep learning for computer vision, including detection and classification
• Depth in PyTorch or TensorFlow and experience with model optimization techniques
