Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

To drive insights and automation in healthcare payer operations, the full-time remote Machine Learning Engineer will design, build, and deploy machine learning models while collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance with data security regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and validate machine learning models for healthcare payer use cases, including risk scoring and outcome prediction
• Develop and maintain feature engineering pipelines on Databricks, ensuring efficient model training and inference
• Monitor deployed models for performance and implement necessary retraining or remediation workflows

Required qualifications

• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in machine learning engineering or applied data science
• Strong proficiency in Python and common machine learning libraries/frameworks such as scikit-learn and TensorFlow
• Practical experience with Databricks for model training and deployment
• Working knowledge of AWS as the cloud infrastructure for data and machine learning workloads
• Solid understanding of data security fundamentals, particularly in a regulated environment
