Job Summary
To improve cancer care through AI biomarkers, the full-time remote Machine Learning Engineer will develop and evaluate multimodal data models, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the model-development lifecycle from prototyping to deployment.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and evaluate AI-based biomarkers using whole-slide images and clinical data to predict patient outcomes
- Contribute to the development of self-supervised foundation models and various machine-learning models
- Collaborate with ML scientists and engineers, as well as clinical and regulatory partners throughout model development and validation
Required qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in developing machine-learning or deep-learning models using PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Familiarity with oncology, biomarker development, and clinical endpoints
- Strong Python programming skills and knowledge of modern software-development practices
- Experience with real-world datasets and evaluating machine-learning models using appropriate metrics
- Ability to analyze experimental results and communicate findings clearly
