Machine Learning Operations Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of engineers, the full-time remote Machine Learning Operations Manager will design, deploy, and operate machine learning solutions while building scalable infrastructure and best practices across the Machine Learning Engineering ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Attract, retain, develop, and manage ML Ops Engineers while overseeing the full ML lifecycle implementation
• Own the roadmap for Machine Learning Engineering and Data Science tools, developing reusable frameworks to streamline model implementation
• Provide technical thought leadership on cloud-based tools and infrastructure for the ML lifecycle, fostering a culture of continuous learning

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
• 5+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer with a proven track record of successful project delivery
• 2+ years of managerial or leadership experience in Data Science or Analytics organizations
• Expertise in ML Ops practices, including production ML systems using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform services, particularly Vertex AI and BigQuery
