Machine Learning Scientist

Job Summary

To support innovative research in protein structure analysis, the contract remote Machine Learning Scientist will develop and apply machine-learning techniques to multimodal biological datasets while curating data and building computational workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and apply machine-learning and statistical approaches to protein structure and biological datasets
• Curate and harmonize structured and unstructured data from various sources
• Build reproducible computational workflows for model training, validation, and performance evaluation

Required qualifications

• Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in computational biology, bioinformatics, or a related field
• Hands-on experience applying machine learning to biological or biomedical data
• Experience with protein structure data in a research or drug discovery context
• Strong Python programming skills with knowledge of scientific computing libraries
• Ability to independently execute project work and meet deadlines
