Machine Learning Scientist

Job Summary

To support groundbreaking research in AI and biology, the full-time Machine Learning Scientist will design, train, and evaluate novel foundation models on large-scale biological datasets while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, train, and evaluate novel foundation models on large-scale biological and multimodal datasets
• Develop new approaches in representation learning, self-supervised learning, and generative modeling
• Conduct end-to-end research projects while collaborating with ML researchers and domain experts

Required qualifications

• PhD or equivalent research experience in ML, AI, Computer Science, Computational Biology, or related fields
• Strong track record of original research with top-tier publications or impactful industry research
• Experience developing models from first principles, including architecture design and evaluation
• Deep expertise in foundation models, representation learning, and large-scale deep learning
• Strong Python/PyTorch skills with the ability to drive research independently
