Machine Learning Scientist

Job Summary

To support innovative material discovery, the full-time Machine Learning Scientist will work remotely to implement and optimize generative architectures, manage the reward interface for property predictors, and ensure data quality for model training.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and evolve the generative platform for material discovery
• Implement and optimize state-of-the-art generative models to navigate chemical space
• Own the reward interface by integrating learned surrogates and designing reward formulations

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in building and shipping generative or applied ML solutions
• Proficiency in scalable ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX
• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms for compute and data processing
• PhD or MSc in Computational Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent
• Experience developing ML code in a collaborative environment using software engineering best practices
