Machine Learning TTS Engineer

Job Summary

To support the expansion of TTS to new languages and next-generation LLM-based TTS, the full-time Machine Learning TTS Engineer will manage data collection, model adaptation, and production readiness while working remotely across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Extend TTS capabilities by overseeing data collection, text normalization, and model adaptation for new languages
• Transition new TTS architectures from research to production, enhancing robustness, latency, and quality in collaboration with the MLOps team
• Develop efficient audio data pipelines and design benchmarks for model evaluation to ensure continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in speech technology with a focus on TTS
• Proficiency in deep learning frameworks, particularly PyTorch
• Understanding of modern ML fundamentals, including Transformers and neural audio codecs
• Experience in making TTS models production-ready, focusing on stability and inference efficiency
• BS or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
