Machining Technology Instructor

Job Summary

To support a diverse student population, the part-time Machining Technology Instructor will plan, organize, and deliver courses in machining, utilizing various teaching methods and technologies, while providing timely feedback and engaging with students both in-person and online.

Key responsibilities:

• Create a learning environment that facilitates the acquisition of knowledge and skills in machining
• Align course activities with learning outcomes and employ active learning strategies to enhance student engagement
• Deliver instruction and conduct assessments while adhering to college policies and providing meaningful feedback to students

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Minimum of five years of industry experience in machining, including CNC and manual operations
• Commitment to hands-on, student-centered instruction
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population
• Experience with modern CNC equipment and CAM software
