Job Summary
To provide clinical oversight and support, the part-time Collaborating Physician will manage advanced practice providers in Maine, ensuring high-quality patient care through chart reviews and clinical guidance in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the designated collaborating or supervising physician for Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants
- Review patient charts and clinical documentation to ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards
- Participate in meetings or case reviews to discuss clinical performance and care standards
Required qualifications
- Current, active license in the state of Maine (MD/DO)
- Active practice in the state
- 3+ years of clinical experience post-residency
- Primary specialty in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
- Board Certification in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine preferred
