Maine Licensed Outpatient Dietitian
Job Summary
To support patient wellness, the part-time and full-time Maine Licensed Outpatient Dietitian will provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education in a remote setting, focusing on individualized care plans and evidence-based practices.
Key responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to enhance recovery and health outcomes
- Provide nutrition and lifestyle education to patients, families, and the community for sustainable wellness
- Collaborate with food service management to achieve patient satisfaction and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Required qualifications
- Maine Licensure as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or eligibility for CDR exam
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting, preferably in surgical weight loss and diabetes management
- Healthcare experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply
