Job Summary

To support the Surveying Engineering Technology program, a part-time temporary Maine Licensed Surveying Lecturer will develop and teach online undergraduate courses, focusing on syllabus creation, lesson planning, and student engagement in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement course syllabi and lesson plans in alignment with departmental standards
• Engage with students through grading, office hours, and correspondence, utilizing online learning management systems
• Participate in course coordination meetings with faculty and complete required orientation and training

Required qualifications

• Licensed as a land surveyor in the United States
• Bachelor of Science degree in surveying engineering technology or a closely related discipline by date of hire
• Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in remote and in-person collaborative environments
• Experience in developing online educational content for diverse student populations
