Mainframe Developer
Job Summary
Seeking a highly experienced Mainframe Developer, the remote position will focus on application development and production support, leveraging expertise in COBOL, DB2, CICS, and FIS Core Banking Systems for a duration extending until March 2027.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and support mainframe applications using COBOL, DB2, and CICS
- Perform troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root-cause analysis for production issues
- Provide technical leadership and oversee development teams throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Required qualifications
- 12-15+ years of experience in Mainframe and COBOL development
- Strong expertise in DB2, CICS, and JCL
- Proven experience with FIS Core Banking Systems and related modules (RM, GN, IM, AM, SC)
- Experience in application development and production support
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders and lead technical teams
