To support critical government operations, the full-time remote Mainframe Developer will design, code, unit test, and debug enhancements for health claims processing systems while collaborating with a persistent development team.
Key responsibilities
- Design, code, and debug enhancements and fixes to the health claims processing system
- Participate in maintenance and operations as a key contributing member of the development team
- Implement complex components within a legacy mainframe environment while ensuring operational stability
Required qualifications
- 4-5+ years of professional experience as a Mainframe Developer
- Proficiency with mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, CICS, TSO, and VSAM
- Ability to perform well in a highly rigorous, structured development environment
- Demonstrated experience as a software developer in a mainframe environment
- Must be able to achieve and maintain Public Trust clearance
