Job Summary
With over 10 years of Mainframe programming experience, the full-time Remote Mainframe Developer will support batch payment processing, voucher payments, and financial reporting systems while leveraging strong COBOL, IMS DB, and MQ expertise.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and deploy COBOL and IMS applications, ensuring production support for financial systems
- Upgrade and modify MQ COBOL programs while supporting MQ server migrations and integrations with WMIS and Workday
- Reverse engineer legacy applications and document business logic to enhance ETBS MQ programs
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Mainframe programming, specifically with COBOL and IMS DB
- Strong expertise in MQ, including maintenance and troubleshooting
- Experience in migrating legacy code to modern code repositories
- Proven skills in IMS administration and development
- Ability to create technical and process documentation
