Mainframe Developer
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer for a remote full-time position focused on designing, developing, and maintaining mainframe applications that support core banking operations, including deposits, loans, and customer management.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, test, and maintain mainframe applications for core banking operations
- Analyze business and technical requirements to create effective mainframe solutions
- Develop and support batch processing jobs using COBOL, JCL, and VSAM
Required qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Mainframe application development using COBOL, JCL, and VSAM
- Strong experience with core banking applications, including deposits and loans
- Familiarity with mainframe development tools such as Endevor and Xpediter
- Knowledge of CICS and IMS is preferred
- Experience with FIS Systematics Core Banking Platform is highly preferred
