Job Summary
To support a critical project, the contract Mainframe Developer - California will analyze business requirements, design and maintain CA-MMIS applications, and develop integrations in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and program logic
- Design, develop, maintain, and support CA-MMIS applications in an IBM z/OS environment
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver reliable application solutions
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of mainframe application development, maintenance, and support experience
- Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS
- Experience with API development and mainframe integration
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
- Healthcare claims processing and CA-MMIS experience preferred
