Mainframe Software Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting a team of mainframe software engineers, the full-time remote Mainframe Software Engineer will analyze user requirements, design and build software applications, and mentor team members while ensuring project delivery and compliance with ITAR regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver software project requirements
- Manage project tasks, timelines, and resources while identifying and mitigating risks
- Provide technical support and mentorship to team members, fostering professional growth
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of relevant work experience, including 2+ years in a software engineering role
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages and software development methodologies
- Prior experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity
- Ability to provide proof of US citizenship for ITAR compliance
