Mainframe Systems Programmer
Job Summary
Supporting critical business applications, the remote Mainframe Systems Programmer will manage the installation, maintenance, and optimization of IBM Db2 for z/OS, ensuring the stability and efficiency of mission-critical systems.
Key responsibilities:
- Installation, maintenance, and optimization of IBM Db2 for z/OS on the mainframe platform
- Db2 subsystem administration, performance tuning, upgrades, and migrations
- Provide 24x7 production support through an on-call rotation
Required qualifications:
- Ability to obtain a low-level U.S. security clearance and U.S. citizenship
- 4 years of IT experience, including varied programming experience
- Experience with Mainframe System technologies, including Db2, z/OS, and Broadcom products
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Understanding of advanced data storage techniques and database management
