Mainframe Systems Programmer
Job Summary
Supporting client mainframe network environments, the full-time remote Mainframe Systems Programmer will plan, install, administer, and maintain network-related software while diagnosing and resolving system problems.
Key responsibilities
- Manage IT mainframe network systems programming and product support, including configuring interfaces to other subsystems
- Plan, coordinate, install, configure, and maintain mainframe network-related software while adhering to ITIL processes
- Monitor and report on system performance and reliability, ensuring system availability in accordance with service agreements
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of mainframe networking experience preferred, with overall mainframe systems experience a plus
- Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience
- Experience in developing, leading, and managing system programming projects
- Ability to prioritize and balance tasks, issues, and concerns effectively
- Strong analytical skills for problem resolution and root cause analysis
