Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary

Owning high-stakes escalations, the full-time Maintenance Specialist will resolve complex maintenance issues, manage vendor relationships, and develop best practices while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own and resolve sensitive escalations, including habitability issues and costly repairs, in line with SLAs and compliance requirements
• Manage communication with tenants and owners, de-escalating tense situations while maintaining relationships and company standards
• Draft and improve SOPs and documentation for maintenance workflows, vendor management, and escalation handling

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in property management, maintenance coordination, or a similar operations role
• Proven experience managing sensitive or high-pressure situations, including habitability issues
• Strong cost awareness with the ability to evaluate estimates and make sound financial recommendations
• Demonstrated vendor management skills, including relationship building and negotiation
• Experience writing or improving SOPs and process documentation
