Job Summary

Building a major gifts program in a remote full-time capacity, the Major Gifts Officer will manage a portfolio of donors, cultivate relationships, and collaborate with board members and senior leaders to enhance fundraising efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of major donors with tailored cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans
• Build and maintain authentic relationships with high-net-worth individuals and key stakeholders
• Lead donor meetings and outreach efforts, ensuring consistent and thoughtful stewardship

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience managing a portfolio of donors through cultivation and stewardship
• Comfort with making asks and following up on leads
• Ability to build trusting relationships with major donors and organizational leaders
• Experience representing an organization confidently in donor conversations
• Proficiency in tracking donor activity using a CRM or donor database
