Managed Care Financial Assistant

Job Summary

Supporting the maintenance of the Hospital Contract Manager/Modeler software, the full-time Managed Care Financial Assistant will verify account values, review insurance payments, and assist with denial tracking and reporting, with initial training conducted onsite in Philadelphia, PA.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Managed Care department to ensure accurate contract terms in the management system
• Assist in the development and maintenance of fee schedules and conduct audits as needed
• Support the Senior Financial Analyst in hospital revenue modeling and reporting requirements

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED (Required)
• 1+ years of experience in hospital or physician managed care contract management or billing operations (Required)
• Bachelor's degree may substitute for years of experience (Preferred)
• Basic understanding of medical billing processes and revenue cycle management techniques (Preferred)
