Manager, Controls and Governance

Job Summary

To enhance operational effectiveness, the full-time Manager, Controls and Governance will manage KYC/KYB onboarding processes, oversee risk governance, and lead compliance content reviews while collaborating closely with various teams in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support Compliance-managed KYC and KYB onboarding pipelines, identifying and resolving operational friction points
• Serve as the key liaison to the US Risk organization, assisting in monitoring key risk indicators and implementing the risk framework
• Lead cross-functional workflows for Compliance and Legal reviews of marketing campaigns and client communications

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Strategic Operations, Program Management, Compliance Operations, Governance, or Risk Management within fintech or regulated financial services
• Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguous, rapidly evolving environments with a builder mindset
• Proven experience in leading cross-departmental incident response and executing post-incident remediation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a track record of building trusted partnerships across teams
