Manager, Epidemiology

Job Summary

To support innovative orthopedic solutions, the fully remote Manager, Epidemiology will design, execute, and disseminate real-world evidence and outcomes research, managing assigned studies and collaborating with cross-functional partners to address evidence gaps.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute real-world evidence and outcomes research studies, managing project timelines and deliverables
• Draft manuscripts, abstracts, and scientific presentations while collaborating with internal and external experts
• Partner with stakeholders to identify evidence gaps and prioritize research aligned with business objectives

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in health economics, epidemiology, biostatistics, or a related quantitative field; Doctorate (PhD) preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in real-world evidence or outcomes research within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry
• Strong foundation in outcomes research, epidemiology, biostatistics, or data science
• Proficiency in statistical software such as R or Python, with hands-on programming and analysis experience
• Demonstrated ability to execute research projects from concept development through publication
