Manager, MDR & Threat Hunting

Job Summary

Leading a team of elite threat hunters and MDR responders, the remote Manager, MDR & Threat Hunting will ensure operational excellence, foster customer relationships, and translate complex security outcomes into clear executive value.

Key responsibilities

• Build and develop a high-performing team of threat hunters and MDR specialists, driving accountability and talent recruitment
• Serve as the senior escalation point for customer security teams during active incidents and complex investigations, providing executive-level communication
• Manage customer engagements and translate threat actor activity into actionable guidance that demonstrates the value of MDR and Threat Hunting services

Required qualifications

• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and their application in security solutions
• Knowledge of threat actor TTPs aligned with the MITRE ATT&CK framework and experience with EDR and Web Proxies
• Proficiency in two or more EDR platforms, including experience in writing detections and responding to alerts
• Proven experience managing customer-facing teams and communicating with executive stakeholders
• Expertise in detection and response using network and/or Web Proxy telemetry
