Manager of Applied AI
Job Summary
Leading an AI-first team, the full-time Manager of Applied AI will mentor internal tool and automation developers while actively engaging in coding, managing the Zendesk platform, and driving the development of intelligent ticket routing and support automation in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of internal tool and automation developers, managing sprints and technical execution
- Own the tooling and automation roadmap for technical support, designing architecture for case resolution
- Actively write, review, and ship code in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Apex for internal applications and CRM integrations
Required qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience managing a team of developers in an Agile environment
- 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Python and TypeScript/JavaScript
- Experience with Zendesk and Salesforce administration and development
- Practical experience deploying cloud-hosted services on GCP or AWS/Azure
- Hands-on experience using AI models and tools for building internal applications and automating workflows
