Job Summary
Leading a team of 15-20 Staff Accountants, the full-time Manager of Balance Sheet Management will ensure the accuracy of financial reporting through timely balance sheet reconciliations, technical guidance, and continuous improvement initiatives in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee and develop a team responsible for balance sheet reconciliations across multiple hospitals
- Review complex account reconciliations and provide technical support for accurate financial reporting
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and scalability in reconciliation processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, preferably in healthcare
- Previous experience leading or managing accounting teams
- Experience with Oracle ERP and familiarity with Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud (ARC)
- Strong background in balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close activities
