Manager of Carrier Relations
Job Summary
To support the growth of the Carrier Management business unit, the full-time Manager of Carrier Relations will develop and manage strategic relationships with carriers, drive performance metrics, and enhance transportation capacity in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop strategic relationships with core and prospective carrier partners
- Manage carrier performance against key performance indicators and drive corrective actions as needed
- Develop and execute carrier engagement strategies to improve retention and service levels
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, carrier management, or procurement
- 2+ years of experience managing people or carrier relationships
- Strong understanding of the North American transportation market
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate rates and commercial terms with transportation providers
