Manager of Commercial Operations

Job Summary

To build and run the transactional engine of the commercial function, the full-time remote Manager of Commercial Operations will manage order management, design the quote-to-order flow, and oversee the quoting and order management system requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Own order management and automate the intake, review, and processing of quotes and bookings
• Design the quote-to-order flow, instrumenting the process to identify and resolve bottlenecks
• Partner with Accounting to ensure the integrity and completeness of the commercial record for billing and revenue recognition

Required qualifications

• 6+ years in commercial operations, deal desk, or revenue operations with experience in high-volume transactional processes
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce and Salesforce CPQ, including writing requirements and designing quoting logic
• Technical proficiency in API-based integrations and scripting or SQL for data reconciliation
• Experience with usage-based or consumption-based contracts and their implications for billing and revenue recognition
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field preferred
