Manager of Credentialing Services
Job Summary
To support a growing healthcare practice, the full-time remote Manager of Credentialing Services will manage multi-state credentialing and licensure, clinician onboarding, compliance, and medical staff services while stabilizing workflows and modernizing systems for over 200 healthcare professionals.
Key responsibilities
- Own end-to-end credentialing processes, including primary source verification, license renewals, and compliance monitoring
- Lead the operational onboarding and offboarding lifecycle for healthcare professionals, ensuring all documentation and training are completed timely
- Establish and maintain authoritative data sources for credentialing and operational metrics, utilizing automation and AI tools for efficiency
Required qualifications
- Five or more years of experience in healthcare professional credentialing, multi-state licensure, or medical staff services
- Direct experience with primary source verification, compliance monitoring, and audit-ready recordkeeping
- Proven ability to build or improve credentialing systems and workflows in a multi-state healthcare environment
- Strong project management and analytical skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional leaders
- Experience administering FPPE, OPPE, or similar medical staff evaluation processes
