Manager of Financial Planning

Job Summary

Owning the budget and forecast processes, the full-time remote Manager of Financial Planning will build and maintain financial models, produce variance analyses, and collaborate directly with the CFO and leadership teams to drive data-informed decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the annual budget and monthly reforecast, maintaining driver-based models for key financial metrics
• Produce variance analysis reports for the CFO and executive team, providing written commentary on budget-to-actual and forecast-to-actual results
• Collaborate with the Data team to transition recurring reporting from spreadsheets to dashboards, utilizing AI tools for efficiency

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a quantitative field
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, or related fields
• Advanced Excel modeling skills, including three-statement models and driver-based forecasts
• Proficiency in working with data directly, using SQL or BI tools
• Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to non-finance executives
