Job Summary
Leading a team in a remote capacity, the full-time Manager of GDS Automation will oversee the administration, configuration, and automation of the Global Distribution System (GDS) environment, while providing technical support and guidance to GDS specialists.
Key responsibilities
- Manage GDS administration, automation support, and agent configuration while developing team capabilities
- Develop and optimize GDS scripts and automation tools to enhance agent productivity and streamline workflows
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex GDS issues, ensuring effective troubleshooting and resolution
Required qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience in GDS environments within a Travel Management Company or corporate travel organization
- Proven experience leading or mentoring technical or support teams
- Strong hands-on expertise in GDS scripting, point-of-sale configuration, and queue management
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing multiple operational teams
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
